Federal judge says state court should divide Bank of America attorney fees

A federal judge has rejected motions to intervene by two Argentine law firms claiming a slice of the $123 million in legal fees set aside when Bank of America settled an overdraft class action. The judge ruled it is not his place to divide legal fees, and state court is the proper venue for such a decision.
